Michal is a seasoned finance professional and CFA charterholder. With a Master's Degree in Financial Markets and Investments from Masaryk University Brno and additional qualifications in Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business, Michal has a profound understanding of the financial landscape.

As the CFO of Presto Ventures, Michal manages the financial complexities of a VC firm, with a focus on corporate finance, financial strategies, and regulatory matters. His financial expertise has been honed through substantial experiences, including his tenure as the Chief Financial Officer at CMN investment group. In this capacity, Michal crafted comprehensive financial strategies, overseeing bank financing, investments, corporate finance, and financial reporting.

Earlier in his career, Michal made significant contributions as an Investment Analyst at Sirius Investments, where he analyzed global investment opportunities and conducted due diligence on various assets. His role as an Equity Research Analyst at MainFirst Group in Frankfurt equipped him with great insights into publicly listed companies.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Michal is a dedicated volunteer. He served as a mentor in Kyrgyzstan’s entrepreneurship project, sharing insights on startups, business plans, and finance, and guiding a group of Kyrgyz students in establishing their own businesses. Additionally, he actively participated in the independent fact-checking platform Demagog.cz, using his financial and investment knowledge to verify statements related to economics and finance.
