Oleksandr Bulatnikov

Oleksandr's educational journey started in the aero-space lyceum at the age of 13, fueled by a dream of becoming a space engineer. However, he took a detour and graduated with a bachelor degree in Logistics from the National Transport University in Kyiv.

Next, he took a deep dive into the finance world, earning an MSc in Finance with a Minor in Corporate Finance and Valuation from the University of Finance and Administration in Prague. Along the way, Oleks achieved ACCA certification and set his sights on attaining the CFA badge.

Before joining the Presto team, Oleksandr donned various hats in the corporate world. He assisted SMEs as a corporate banker at BNP Paribas, played a vital role in consolidating and preparing financial reports for a major international vertically-oriented oil and gas holding, and gained valuable experience in the transactions and corporate finance team at EY.

At Presto Ventures, Oleks contributes his expertise in multiple domains, including due diligence, M&A, and startup research. He’s particularly good at understanding product-related, blockchain, and fintech verticals.

Oleksandr's energy is fuelled by the raw power of heavy music, with a special nod to the best of the best, Slipknot's 1999 self-titled album. When he's not headbanging, Oleks enjoys functional training, weightlifting, CrossFit, and running. He loves exploring new destinations, devours business literature, and occasionally immerses himself in the world of video games.

Oleks dedicated nearly a decade to the world of mixed martial arts and taekwondo, earning a couple of golden medals through hard-fought competitions.
